On a trip to Dinoland

By car to Dinoland

 

  • From the direction of Groningen / Leeuwarden (A28) +

    From the A28 take the Zwolle Zuid exit (exit 18). At the roundabout, take the third exit, towards Hattem/Ring Zuid. After the roundabout, turn left at the first opportunity, towards Centrum/ Station. You are now driving on the Willemsvaart. After 100 meters you will see Dinoland on your right. Turn right at the next traffic lights.

  • From the direction of Utrecht / Amersfoort / Amsterdam (A28) +

    Follow the signs A28 in the direction of Zwolle. As you approach Zwolle, take the Zwolle Zuid exit (exit 18). At the bottom of the exit, at the roundabout, turn immediately right towards Hattem/Ring Zuid. Turn left at the first opportunity, towards Centrum/Station. You are now driving on the Willemsvaart. After 100 meters you will see Dinoland on your right. Turn right at the next traffic lights.

  • From Arnhem and Apeldoorn (A50) +

    You follow the A50 towards Zwolle until the Hattemerbroek interchange. Now follow the signs A28 in the direction of Zwolle. Then take the Zwolle Zuid exit (exit 18). At the bottom of the exit, at the roundabout, turn right immediately, towards Hattem/Ring Zuid. Turn left at the first opportunity, direction Centrum/Station. You are now driving on the Willemsvaart. After 100 meters you will see Dinoland on your right. Turn right at the next traffic lights.

  • From the direction of Enschede and Almelo (A35 / N35) +

    From Enschede (A35) towards Hengelo/Almelo/Amsterdam continue on the N35. As you approach Zwolle, turn left at the first traffic lights in Zwolle onto Oldeneelallee. Keep following the Oldeneelallee and after the railroad viaduct turn right onto the IJsselallee (N337). You follow this road for about 5 kilometers. Turn right when you have passed the bridge over the railroad. You are now driving on the Willemsvaart. After 100 meters you will see Dinoland on your right. At the next traffic lights turn right.

Parking at Dinoland

  • A booked ticket does not guarantee a parking spot.
  • We have P1, P2 & P3 around Dinoland. Parking fees are €7 per car, via contactless payment at exit or buy a parking token at the front desk.
  • If our own parking spaces are full on busy days such as during the autumn break, you will be directed to the parking lot of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Campus 2. A Dinoland employee will show you the walking route from there, which is approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
  • In our experience, if you arrive between 12:30 - 2:15 pm, you are most likely to be referred.

Taking public transportation to Dinoland

Dinoland is about 15-minute walk from Zwolle train station. Leave the station on the south side and walk to the right. At the end of the road turn left with the curve and then turn right again at the end of the road. You are now walking on the Koggelaan. Follow this road. At some point you will go under a small tunnel. Turn left after the tunnel. Dinoland is in front of you.

You can also by bus go. Less than 5 minutes walk from the entrance is the bus stop ‘Oranje Nassaulaan’. From the station it is best to take bus 203 (direction Heerde Transferium / Apeldoorn) or bus 100 (direction Nunspeet). This bus stops right in front of the park.
