Dino scavenger hunt

A trip through Dinoland

Step millions of years ago and discover the world of dinosaurs. In Dinoland you will travel through three extraordinary eras: the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. In each era, you will learn what the earth looked like and what dinosaurs lived there. From the first tiny dinosaurs to impressive giants like the T. Rex. Discover, take a good look around and explore for yourself.

Trias

The beginning of the dinosaurs
Welcome to the Triassic, the beginning of the age of dinosaurs. The Earth looks very different from today. All the continents are still connected and the climate is hot and dry. The first dinosaurs appear and are carefully beginning to take their place among other reptiles. They are still small and fast, but are the beginning of an impressive group of animals. As you look around, you will discover how this adventure began millions of years ago. The Triassic is the starting point of a world full of dinosaurs.

Well-known dinosaurs from this period are Coelophysis, Plateosaurus and Herrerasaurus.

Jura

The time of giants
In the Jurassic Mountains, dinosaurs really take over the landscape. The climate is warm and large forests of ferns and conifers grow everywhere. Here huge herbivores around with long necks and heavy tails. Flying reptiles soar high in the sky and large predators swim in the sea. It is a world full of life and movement. As you watch on, you will discover how the dinosaurs get bigger, stronger and more impressive.

In the Jurassic, large dinosaurs such as Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus and the predator Allosaurus.

The final chapter of dinosaurs
The Cretaceous is the last era of the dinosaurs. Nature changes and new plants appear everywhere, including the first flowers. Many dinosaurs are now bigger and stronger than ever. Think giant herbivores and famous predators such as the Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor and Spinosaurus. All over the earth, different types of dinosaurs live side by side. But at the end of this era, everything suddenly changes. The dinosaurs disappear, but you can still discover their tracks today.
