Help, I've lost something!

Losing or forgetting something can always happen. We would like to return these items to their owners. On this page you can read what you can do if you have lost something and how Dinoland handles found objects.

Send us an email describing in as much detail as possible what you lost and when. As soon as the item is found, we will contact you. Please mail to info@dinoland.nl.

How do I get it back again?

Found objects can be be picked up at Dinoland free of charge. We can also send it to you, but there is a cost for this.

What does Dinoland do with found objects?

In principle, all found objects are registered by date of finding and the location where it was found. After registration, we initially try to locate the rightful owner.

Value documents as passports, ID cards and driver's licenses be (when we cannot reach you directly at short notice) to the found objects department of the municipality of Zwolle brought (tel. no.14 038). The Municipality of Zwolle then returns the document to the issuing municipality.
Found college or bank cards, if a return address can be traced, are generally returned to the respective institution.

Found objects with a value of less than €450. Dinoland keeps them for three months free of charge. After this storage period, the goods are destroyed or donated to charity. Found objects with a value of more than €450 are sent by us after three months to the found objects department of the municipality of Zwolle brought. The Municipality of Zwolle is then required by law to keep the items for another 9 months.
